This is one of Chesney's early releases, but it wasn't a single. You've probably never heard it, but in my opinion, it's one of his best songs. I'm not a big fan of his, but I do like some of his stuff, and the whole sort of beach/island theme he has nowadays doesn't bother me the way it does a lot of people. I'm all for the fusion of didn't styles of music when it's done correctly. This song captures what it is like when you find the right person to be with and the feelings you have when your starting that new adventure together. When that spark hits just right, everything seems to be better than it was before.
Everywhere We Go, on which this song was released, was Chesney's fifth album. It was also the album that had the huge hit, "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," a song that I hated at the time. I've come to see that it's really just a fun novelty country song, and I actually enjoy it now. The album as a whole reached #5 on the Top Country Albums chart, and it's easy to see why: every song on the album is a good one.
