Random Theme: Songs Named After Girls

I'm skipping the next name on the list: Nancy. I'm mainly looking over it, because I have no idea what song is being referenced here. I've looked around online a little with no luck. If you know what it is, leave a comment to let me know.

It seems like all the time I'm learning that more and more songs I had no idea were covers are, in fact, covers! I had no idea this song was originally recorded by a group called The Regents. Their version appeared in American Graffiti. The Who also did a version of the song, but this one is still my favorite.

Even though it's a cover, this is by the most popular and well known version. I was really, really surprised at the lack of good YouTube videos of this song, though. I figured there would be lots of people out there making covers of this. For that matter, there aren't any good live recordings of The Beach Boys doing it. I kind of thought there would be.
