Dances with Wolves is another one that makes my favorites list. I've seen three different versions of the film, each one a little longer with extended scenes than the one before it, and I love them all. It's just a great story told in a spectacular way. This song is from the 2004 expanded version of the soundtrack. I feel like Barry managed to capture the real essence of the character in this piece. Dunbar (Kevin Costner) has giving enough for his country that he has been allowed to select his newest assignment, and his only wish is to see the frontier "before it's gone". He gets his opportunity and begins an amazing journey. He's a peaceful man with a great curiosity. Barry has worked on other films such as Midnight Cowboy, King Kong, Peggy Sue Got Married and several films in the James Bond series.
