The Foo Fighters played Wembley Stadium in 2008, and as lead singer Dave Grohl explains in the video, they wanted to do something special. That something special was having Jones and Page join them for a rendition of this classic Zeppelin tune. I think I would've have personally picked something different from a catalog as awesome as Zeppelin's, but I digress.
Grohl actually steps back and takes on the role of drummer again from his days in Nirvana, while Taylor Hawkins actually steps from behind the kit to make his best attempt at embodying Robert Plant. He doesn't do terrible, but nobody can do it like Plant did it. Grohl is actually great drummer, as most of us know, a good guitarist, and he has a great personality from all indicators. Just take this video he made with Kyle Gas of Tenacious D fame. It's funny, but it's totally true, and if Grohl is always one thing, he's always real.
