Gangam Style (Psy drum cover) - Adventure Drums

First things first, I am a huge TMNT fan, and I have been since I was a kid. This drum kit is absolutely amazing. Don't get me wrong; it's not something I'd go on the road with, but at the same time, I'd love to own a replica of it. I'm pretty sure it's the prints from a set of bed dressings that I (and probably millions of other kids) had back in the ninties. I digress...

The real reason I picked this video for today is because the song has taken the internet by storm. Yes, it's partly because it's silly and that Psy, the original artist, is a funny guy, and we enjoy watching him do his silly dance moves. Beyond that though, this is a well crafted song. Haters are gonna hate and say that it isn't, but it really is. It's not overly complicated, but a song doesn't have to be to still be a good song.

I didn't want to post the original video. Everyone has already seen that. I was looking for covers of the song on YouTube, and I found a drum cover. This wasn't the first one I found. The first three or four I came across were pretty good, but I felt like they didn't keep the original essence of the song in tact. The drummers played with the tune too much. This drummer keeps the feel of the song while also adding his own flavor to it. It's very tasteful. Plus, that drum kit... Wow!
