This was Stewart's biggest success during his solo career. He had enjoyed a long string of hits as the lead singer for Restless Heart, performing with the group for eight years. I've posted about them once before, and I'm sure I'll find another one of their tunes to post in the future.
I had actually forgotten about this song completely until a recent road trip. I was in a van designed to ride four comfortably for about ten hours with five other awesome musicians riding to an out-of-town show. During our trip with a keyboard player riding on the steel guitar chair and the fiddler riding on the cooler, we got to talking about music, obviously, and more specifically, country of the nineties. This was one of the songs mentioned, and after they mentioned it, it all came flooding back. I can't believe I'd forgotten.
