Christmas in Hollis - Run DMC

December Theme: Christmastime Again

This is very non-traditional Christmas fare, but it is nonetheless Christmas music. It comes from one of my favorite Christmas movies: Die Hard. You can argue all day long that it's not a Christmas movie, but it is. It happens at Christmas, there's Christmas music, and Bruce Willis even wraps up one of the terrorists like a Christmas present and writes a note that includes "ho, ho, ho" in it before sending the "package" back to the other members of the terrorist cell. If that doesn't scream "Merry Christmas", I don't know what does.

In the beginning of the film, Willis's character, John McClane, is picked up at the airport in L.A. by a limo. The driver is listening to this tune. McClane asks the driver, Argyle, "Why don't you play some Christmas music?" Argyle responds, "Man, this is Christmas music!" The song samples several traditional Christmas songs, as well as "Back Door Santa" by Clarence Carter.
