There's heavy influence in this band's appearance from glam metal acts from the eighties like KISS and Motley Crue, but this group doesn't go to quite the same lengths. The influence musically seems to come from there as well as some heavier influence. I'm not a big fan of the look, but image is a big part of the music industry in general, regardless of genre. There's always a look people are trying to capture. You just have to forget that part and close your eyes, just listen.
I like the melodic line of the vocals in this song a lot. All of the music keeps the song driving. The only negative thing I've got to say about it is that lead guitar tone in the solos. It's fairly common in this style of music, but it sounds like something out of an 8-bit video game to me. I just don't understand the fascination with it, but it sounds like it's gonna be around for a while.
