Always on My Mind - Josh Turner

This song has been recorded by everybody from (originally) Willie Nelson to Michael Buble, but I think it sits well in Turner's Baritone range. He is quickly becoming a country music standard and (besides Trace Adkins) one of the most famous baritone front men. His breakthrough hit came with his first album's title track, Long Black Train. Turner wrote the song after being inspired by a vision of the train he describes in the song and realizing that the train symbolized temptation.

"Always on My Mind" itself is just one of those songs that is timeless. It ranks right up there with one of Nelson's other classics: "Crazy".  The song is all about the way we see things once they're done versus what we see while we are experiencing it. Looking back on events in life often gives you a very different perspective than the on you had while you were caught up in the moment, emotions running high. The song tells the story of hindsight being 20/20 very well.
