Twist and Shout - The Beatles

We can debate all day long about which Beatles' tune is the best and never come to an agreement, but I think that everyone agrees this is one of the most fun songs they ever cut. It's actually in the small group of songs the band recorded that they didn't also write. The song was written in 1961 by Phil Medley and Bert Berns, but it didn't become a hit until it was covered by The Isley Brothers. The Beatles' cover came along shortly after that on their first album.

The song also famously made it into the eighties classic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It was one of two songs that Ferris lip syncs near the end of the film in a parade, cementing himself as the high schooler every kid wanted to be. This classic dance tune is preceded in the film by "Danke Schonen" by Wayne Newton. What two songs to go better together?
