Theme from "A Nightmare on Elm Street" - Charles Bernstein

If this isn't one of the creepiest theme songs ever, I don't know what is. That percussive echo laid over the creepy choir creeps me out every time I hear it. The movie isn't anywhere near as scary as the music for it is. This theme nailed the dream feel of the films directly on the head. The theme's composer, Bernstein, was a composer with several other movie soundtrack credits to his name. He worked on such films as Kill BillSybilInglourious Bastards, and Cujo.
