This isn't just a great arrangement of some lyrics to the original French "Can-Can," it's a great reflection on the commercialism that has taken over the holiday season. I'm a firm believer that we've lost site of what the Christmas season is really about. Whether you want to think of Christmas in the religious sense or just a holiday to be celebrated with family, wishing goodwill to all, it's not all about presents and trees. I think that Straight No Chaser has captured what Christmas has become very well in this song. The animated video that accompanies the studio version of the song goes just a little further in the presentation of our current state of Christmas.
