This song was originally written and recorded by Jackson Browne. His version is a little too laid back/singer-songwriter-ey (which is exactly what he was) for me. I was actually looking for the cut by Andru Donalds, a little known Jamaican artist, that appeared on the Good Will Hunting soundtrack. The full song is not available on YouTube, which is where I pull my videos from usually. So, I was actually introduced to this version first. The Browne version was written for the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Phantom Planet's version appeared on the Not Another Teen Movie soundtrack, a movie that I've never seen. I dig this cover, though.
