There has been a huge opportunity presented for musicians to showcase themselves with the introduction of YouTube and other similar websites. Many, many people have taken advantage of that opportunity. I'm a huge fan of seeing amateur musicians rearranging other people's music as their own or creating their own music. I'm also a huge fan of seeing one musician playing multiple parts of the song. I'm not versatile in that way, only being able to play percussive instruments, but I love to see others do it.
Burrows isn't as much of an amateur as many you see on YouTube. He has been the drummer in the British group Razorlight, and has been a guest drummer with We Are Scientists. So, his musical background consists of more than just YouTube videos, but he's using it to promote his own music.
