Oh, Yeah - Yello

I know I usually preach against synthesized music, but this is straight out of the eighties. That makes it OK. This  song really gained popularity when it appeared in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It plays as Cameron's father's car is introduced, a very classic Ferrari. It's one I can only listen to on a very rare occasion, but it worked excellently for the scene in the film.

As is still the case today, this type of electronic music was better suited for the dance floor. "Oh, Yeah" took to #36 on the US dance charts in 1986, but it only cleared #51 on the Hot 100. Then, twenty years later, in 2006, the song's remix, "Oh Yeah Oh Six" hit the top spot on the dance charts. Point proven!
