Too Much Love - Brian May

Before May plays this song, he explains that he wrote it with "some friends" a few years ago. He decided to play it during this, The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, because it was the "best thing I have to offer." He may not have written the song for Freddie, but you can tell he's definitely playing it for him here. The emotion he plays with comes through in the music.

The song was recorded in 1988. It was passed over for several albums, and this performance was the first that any major audience would ever hear of it. It was released in 1995 on Queen's Made in Heaven album. Mercury had passed away four years prior, but his vocals are heard on the recording, having been laid down years earlier. I can't imagine a better tribute for the singer.
