I haven't experienced this theory personally, but I have some friends who will tell you it's true. Girls you grew up with that were "sweet little angels" are probably not behind closed doors. People in general aren't the same with someone they're close to as they are with the general public. Close friends or girlfriends tend to see a much goofier, sweeter side of my personality most people don't experience. My recent romantic interests may disagree with that, but it's true when I really fall hard for someone. This isn't to say that these girls the song is talking about grow up to be horrible people. It just means that once they get to a certain point in life and find someone they commit the rest of their lives to, they cut loose a little bit. There's nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
