She's More - Andy Griggs

Everybody wants to fall in love with the person of their dreams. What if that person wasn't who you thought it was, or it was someone you never expected. That's what this song is about. It's all about falling for the right person, not the right image you conjure up on your own. The girl Griggs sings about is not what he was looking for, but she turned out to be way more. It's really just a message to keep your eyes and heart open to all the options around you.

This song appears on Griggs' debut album, You Won't Ever Be Lonely. The song was a top ten country hit, reaching the #2 spot. Griggs also wanted to acknowledge his roots on this album to let people know where he was coming from in the music. To do this, he included two Waylon Jennings songs, "Shine on Me" and "Ain't Livin' Long Like This", and he even had Waylon appear as a duet partner on "Shine on Me".
