"I'm not the devil, but I won't be your hero." That line says a lot. The chorus of this song is really strong, and it has a lot to do with Corey Taylor's voice in my opinion. I don't like the growling he does (more with Slipknot than with this band), but his regular singing voice is great. Needless to say I far prefer Stone Sour over Slipknot in general.
The album, House of Gold & Bones - Part 1, is the first of two to a double concept album. The albums follow the story of a young man that is faced with making the decision about whether to grow up or not, basically. I've only listened to one other track off the album so far, and this one is by far the radio hit for obvious reasons. It's a style to which a larger audience can relate.
