I just happened to stumble onto these guys on Pandora I think, and I dig the sound. While the tune definitely has a reggae influence and foundation, there's a lot of pop-rock in there, too. This song specifically reminds me of something that would have been a big hit in the nineties. It fits right in the same kind of sound as Matchbox Twenty, Sublime, or The Wallflowers fit. The melody is catchy enough, and the groove is solid. Overall, the song is pretty simple, but the biggest hits usually are.
The band hasn't been all that active on their official website or their Facebook page over the last few months. They also still have a link to their MySpace account that you can find on their Facebook page, so, I'm not sure what that means. At this point, bands are really the only entities sill making use of MySpace, but I digress. The music speaks for itself, and I hope this band is still out there working.
