This is blues at some of its finest. Benoit learned his craft firsthand from some of the greatest living blues legends, and it really shows in his music. It's a blend of different styles of blues, primarily influenced by Delta blues. It's a good, short tune about how much help people can offer to one another and the planet and the choices we make that go against that potential.
Benoit has definitely proven himself in the blues world, winning several honors, including one of the highest accolades you can receive as a blues artist, the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award. The award came in 2007, fourteen years after Benoit released his first album, Nice and Warm. Sixteen albums later, he would release this song as the title track for his first collection of 2011.
