Somebody's Watching Me - Rockwell

 [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YvAYIJSSZY]

Here's another seasonally appropriate song. This one is all about the paranoia that (I think) a lot of people have about being watched all the time. Whether you think it's the government, aliens, or that creepy guy on the corner, a lot of people feel like someone is always watching them. It might no be paranoia in every case; sometimes I'm sure it's ego that makes people think they're being watched. This time of year, more likely than not, it's the boogey man...probably.

The song was Rockwell's debut single, and it was the biggest commercial success he would have. His only other charting single would come the following year, in 1984, titled, "Obscene Phone Caller." That song would only see a #25 spot. "Watching Me" was probably helped along by the guest vocalist. That's right! That is Michael Jackson singing the chorus. Also, his brother Jermaine is singing some backups in there, too.
