I put another of these lights shows up last year, and it was also accompanied by TSO. After the one from last year was originally posted, I believe in 2005, lots of people started copying the idea. Well, nothing is ever as easy as it seems. There are lots of these videos out there, and in my opinion, the main issue I see is that they give everything away to early.
If you watch the one from last year, there is a tree of lights to the right side of the house that you don't even know is there right away. The icicle lights hanging from the gutters don't even make an appearance until the music comes down a bit. This video is similar. The implementation of different sections of the lights is very strategic. Moderation is the key to making one of these displays really come together.
