Everybody Talks - Neon Trees

This song is the group's highest charting single to date, making it all the way to #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Lead vocalist Tyler Glenn says that it was influenced by Motown and soul music from the 60s, and I think you can hear those influences in the music for sure. In this video, though, being a drummer, the thing that stands out most to me is the drummer. She's got a really tight sound, and I like the little nuances (off beat hi-hat tick, tom fill on the upbeat of four) she throws in to make things just a little different in different sections of the song. She also looks far more relaxed than a lot of female drummers appear, even offering up some harmonies here and there.

The video for the song is set in a 50s style drive-in. In the movie that's being shown, the band is playing music when they are attacked by zombie bikers, who, if the title of the movie within the video is accurate, are from hell (Zombie Bikers from Hell). It's a catchy song paired with a decent video. The group also performs well live, as you can see above. The video for the song is the last clip in the post.
