Goodwin's band celebrates the best of the big band era, not just the specific tunes, but the ideals and pieces that were important, too. This is actually a play on a very famous big band tune: "Sing, Sing, Sing". I've posted a version of it below for comparison. You may recognize it as the Chip's Ahoy song from a few years ago. It's one of my favorite swing tunes.
The original version of the song below was written by Louis Prima and had lyrics included. The song's original title, "Sing, Bing, Sing", was a reference to the great Bing Crosby. Benny Goodman's ridiculously popular instrumental version kind of put people in a different mindset about the song, and almost every version you hear today is sans vocals.
