This song was recorded by Petula Clark in 1964. Despite the fact that it was a #1 hit for the artist, had it not been for the episode of LOST seen above, I probably would never have heard it. Still, after hearing it, it sounded so familiar. After a little research, it became clear why it was so familiar. Take a listen to Green Day's "Waiting," and it might sound more familiar to you, too.
LOST SPOILER ALERT
This was one of the biggest WTF moments of the LOST series. This was the opening of an episode that really opened our eyes to some of what was really going on with our survivors. It showed us an entirely different side of the island we didn't know existed! It was a crazy. All together, we got six seasons of awesome for a crappy ending. Don't get me wrong, I guess I can concede that it was a good ending for the characters, but it was a letdown on the side of all the mystery and sci-fi, basically all the reasons I'd been watching the show. I digress... I'll leave you with this video which pretty much sums up the way a lot of people felt after the show ended.
