April Theme: Big & Small Screen Music

I would be remiss if I didn't include a song from The Blues Brothers in this month's theme. Actually, the theme was supposed to end in April, but I figured I'd just go ahead and close out the week. What better way to do so than with a classic blues tune?
The song was of course used in the original Blues Brothers film, opening the movie. This is the original version, performed live, by it's original co-writer, Mahal. He is credited with many things, the least of which is not his huge impact on the entire form of blues music. The verions of the song that appeasrs in the film can be heard below. It was recorded by the Blues Brothers for the film. The late John Belushi performs the lead vocals.
