This is a pretty cool guitar cover of this song. It's not the playing that attracted me to it as much as the camera angle, though. I think this shot just looks really cool. It reminds me of some of the weird camera angles and shots used in Huey Lewis' video for "Hip to be Square". It's not quite as crazy, but the same principle applies.
This song was originally recorded by Van Halen, and it's one of the songs that was reportedly recorded as a demo with Mitch Malloy. Malloy was supposed to replace Sammy Hagar. Malloy is a singer-songwriter who has had success on his own. He eventually declined the offer to become the full-time, permanent replacement for Hagar to pursue other interests.
