I'm going to have to keep today short due to some...uh, business I have to attend to. Yes, pun definitely intended. This is the classic BTO hit, and I'm sure you'll enjoy. The tune was written by Randy Bachman, one fo the titular founders of the group. Bachman started writing the song while still a member of The Guess Who, but it was titled "White Collar Worker," based on one of the technicians he'd worked with while recording. The change to the lyrics and title came when he heard a radio DJ's catch phrase, "we're taking care of business," on a trip to Vancouver with BTO. The song would take full form shortly there after, becoming a #12 hit for the band.
