Sometimes we think that not saying something keeps it from being real. Keeping things inside, away from other people, doesn't mean those feelings aren't true. The only thing that bottling things up ever accomplishes is getting someone hurt. Of course, in Meg's case, certain people finding out about her feelings could be worse.
Written by Alan Meinken, a regular member of Disney music teams, and David Zippel, this song served as the love theme for 1997's Hercules. This song, like many of our Disney favorites, received the Disneymania treatment. Disneymania is a series of recordings where pop singers, usually teen idols, record a Disney song in a more radio-friendly style. The song got a worse sentence than many, having the Cheetah Girls replace the Muses for the backup vocals.
