If you are currently in your late twenties to early thirties and don't remember this movie from your childhood, you need to go and watch it again. This is the classic formula for a sports movie and a Disney live-action film all rolled into one. The cast features a couple of actors that go on to do some big things. The music is great. The comedy is perfect for the whole family. While not being a HUGE box office smash, it did have a pretty good turnout, making over $50.5 million at the US box office, five times its budget.

David Newman is a composer known mostly for his film scores. Newman was the composer on such hit films as Critters, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Jingle All the Way. His full list of credits is much, much longer. His composition for the Ducks' theme was perfect. It fits the ups and the downs the team goes through and used throughout the movie in bits and pieces, reprising the main theme several times in the other tracks.
