I realized today that I hadn't yet included any movie soundtrack tunes in my list. It may seem a little strange to include one in this list, but movie scores are some of my favorite music. Good score composers (John Williams, Silvestri, Hans Zimmer) can evoke a lot of emotion with their music. Scenes that really pull tears wouldn't pull nearly as many if you cut the background music.
This is by far one of my favorite trilogies and one of my favorite main themes. This piece (to me) really sounds like a Williams piece. I really don't think I'm the only one. I often hear people mistakenly credit Williams with the music from Back to the Future. This is a really, really big theme. It opens up the somewhat closed world of Hill Valley. It really opens your imagination, just like all good movie music does.
Below, I've included a metal version I found on YouTube as well.
