Most people that recognize this song will recognize it as the theme song from Mad About You (which was a great show, BTW), but it's a full length song, too. It's not unlike many of TV's great themes (FRIENDS, Drew Carey Show, etc.) that have great theme songs that are also full length recordings. This one has a different kind of groove. I love the laid back feel of the song. The piano work is great.
Gold also wrote another popular theme song, "Thank You for Being a Friend", used as the theme song for The Golden Girls and its spinoff The Golden Palace. Gold is a very talented individual, playing multiple instruments including, saxophone, drums, guitar, keyboards, bass, accordion, and synthesizer, among others. He's also worked with a long list of amazing talent, including good friend Freddie Mercury.
