I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide - ZZ Top

The beat/feel change from one part to another is the coolest thing about this song in my opinion. You roll from the main guitar riff to the 6/8 feel for just a couple bars with no warning whatsoever. It sounds like the tempo changes, but it's just a cool effect that message with your mind. The tempo stays pretty much the same. It's just the change in time signature that makes it feel different.

The song originally appeared on the group's album Degüello. Basically, the term translates to "no surrender, fight to the death". It was an appropriate title for the band's sixth studio album, as they had shown no signs of slowing down. Then again, it was also the bugle call for the Mexican army during the Battle of the Alamo, and we see how that turned out for them.
