Blues Don't Bother Me - Matt "Guitar" Murphy

Here's another one from the Blues Brothers 2000 soundtrack. I think it's great that Murphy, lead guitarist for The Blues Brothers, gets to shine on this album on a solo track. He both wrote and performed the song.

Murphy is from Sunflower, MS, but he transplanted himself to Chicago in 1948. He got his start with Howlin' Wolf's band, and things began happening for him from there. After having done session and live work with artists like Muddy Waters, Etta James, and Chuck Berry, Murphy joined The Blues Brothers in 1978, reamaining with the group until the early 2000's.
