I'm not a real huge fan of the original song here. Don't get me wrong, I think Usher is a very talented guy, but he has better tunes than this one. Although, when one nerdy white dude and his chick friend take it and make it their own, it seems to take on new life. Goot and Grimmie record the whole track themselves in a home studio environment, and it sounds pretty good. I think it's a great take on the song.
Usher's original was a huge hit for the artist. It guests vocals from Pitbull, who, recently, has been showing up in everyone's music. "DJ" was a Top 10 hit in more than 15 countries. It was a #1 here in the states.
