This is a great song! It's very moving and patriotic. It was written by singer/songwriter Pearson who recently appeared on CMT's, Next Superstar. I had actually never heard of her or the song, but I stumbled on to it when searching for a different song by the same name for my Valentine's Day post. I'm glad I stumbled that way. I enjoy finding new music, and I don't really do it often enough. It's even better when you find it without really looking.
There are plenty of these types of videos on the web, but I don't care if there are millions of them. They're some of my favorite videos. Who doesn't like to see a soldier come home, reunited with his or her family? It's a great moment for everyone involved. If you can watch this, or other videos like it, with dry eyes. You should check your pulse.
