I've decided that I'm going to take this week and post whatever I feel like posting. Starting on April 1, I'm going to come up with another theme to follow in my posts. I haven't come up with a good one, yet. If you have any ideas, feel free to comment here or e-mail me.

Niemann started writing songs at age eight and hasn't stopped since. By the age of ten, he was turning out several songs each year. He spent the first part of his professional career releasing his own albums, and his first big break was with Garth Brooks. He co-wrote three songs for Brooks and has also written material that has been released by artists like Jamey Johnson and Neal McCoy.
The song itself is catchy, and it isn't much like anything else on country radio. I really dig the harmonies, particularly the prominence of the bass vocal. The thing that really caught my eye before I even heard his music was the title of the album of which this song is a part: Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury. That's clever... This song went to #1 on the country charts, as did the album.
I love this song.
