Never Been to Spain - Hanson

If I'm being 100% honest, I've NEVER heard any Hanson, cover or original material, beyond "MMMBop." That's really not the best song to use as judgment for any group, especially after you see them perform something like this. It's a classic song, and they put a good spin on it. Even though they don't quite capture the groove just right, the song sounds good overall.

I'm overly impressed with two things. One, the harmonies are awesome, but everyone would expect that. It's one of the reasons they got picked up nationally in the first place. Two, the guitar is really good. That would be Isaac on guitar. On the other hand, I'm not at all impressed with the drummer's (Zac) playing. It's in good time, but he doesn't really do anything extra or add to the music at all. The third brother, Taylor, is solid on the keys, but again, nothing extra. Looking up some info to write this, I was even slightly more impressed to learn that each of the brothers plays guitar and piano, while Taylor and Zac also play drums. Obviously, all three of them can sing.
