Driving rock! That's really the only way to describe this tune. I'm a big, big fan of all the stops and punches throughout the song. Despite the belief that the song is written about being high, singer Lou Gramm says that the song's title came from a hockey game. The announcers kept using the phrase "double vision" describing the symptoms NY Rangers' goalie John Davidson was experiencing after an in-game injury. The strangest thing about this song, though? The fact that it's a seventies rock hit without a guitar solo. There's plenty of guitar riff work, but there's no solo. How odd!
