This is basically the story of the end Dave Grohl's marriage to Jennifer Youngblood. Sometimes you get a hit song out of a tragedy. The tune spent fifteen weeks on the charts and made it all the way to #9. The video above is great, especially Hawkins' drum solo at the end. Grohl, if you didn't know, was previously the drummer for Nirvana, and he typically records the Foo Fighter's drum tracks in the studio. Hawkins only performs them live. The music video for this song was also the first one to feature Hawkins after he replaced William Goldsmith. This recruiting of Hawkins has me convinced that Grohl's endgame is to create a band where all the members have scary-large teeth.
