It's not often that you run across a girl that honestly doesn't know how beautiful she is. There are a lot of beautiful women that pretend to not know, but they're just looking for more attention and confirmation. Kershaw's song is about one of those rare ladies that just doesn't know "what the fuss is all about".
Kershaw has had a string of top ten hits, but this song was his only single to climb all the way to #1. It did so in both Canada and the US. Kershaw got an early start in music after his father passed away. He began performing in his teens to help support his family, eventually opening for acts like Ray Price and George Jones.
