I've posted two versions of this. Here's why... The one above has some really awesome harmonies that are really strong in the recording. The one below is tighter, as most studio cuts usually are, and showcases the opening guitar riff better, which is one of my favorite parts of the song. A lot of the time, all you need to make a hit song is the right riff or hook. "Super Love" definitely has both of those.

JP Pennington, the band's founder and lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist, was one of the main songwriters for the group, and was so successful with it, he was recognized by BMI as one of the top 100 writers of the century. Songs written by Pennington for Exile were covered by many other artists and became hits. Another similar group you may have heard of, Alabama, covered both "The Closer You Get" and "Take Me Down", while groups like Huey Lewis and the News and the Forester Sisters covered songs like "Heart and Soul" and "Just in Case", respectively.
