One Clear Moment - Little Feat

This tune has that awesome New Orleans kind of groove to it. The drums are a little off beat in places that don't feel that off beat, just like they're right where they should be. Usually, you get a clear back beat on two and four. Here the drummer is shifting the first of those back a sixteenth putting it on the "uh" of beat one. It's a weird kind of half-time feel, too. It may or may not actually be half-time, but it grooves like it might be. I've never been a big fan of the group, but I do like this tune. The group is a favorite of guitarist Jimmy Page, according to a 1975 interview with Rolling Stone.
