This song was the tenth, closing track on Wariner's tenth albu, I Am Ready. It's a catchy little blues-influenced chicken pick. It moves pretty quickly, and there are plenty of things in it that I really, really like; the least of which isn't the ensemble. You'll see Steve Wariner, Lee Roy Parnell, Delbert McClinton, Mark O'Connor, and Michael W. Smith. Each player and singer gets his turn to show off throughout the song.
Other things that are great... Parnell's slide guitar solo is phenomenal, as usual. Wariner takes one of his scat-guitar solos, my favorite part of his repertoire. I learned that Smith is a much better pianist than I had given him credit for being; I'd never really listened to him at all, so, my opinion was based mostly on assumption. Shame on me! Things I didn't like... O'Connor, who may have been up in the house mix, was not turned up for the TV audience. Oh, well! Technical difficulties happen.
