Lost in the Light - Bahamas

I was under the impression that Bahamas was the name of a band, but it is actually the stage name of Canadian born performer Alfie Jurvanen.  He has released two albums, the first of which was recorded in a secluded cabin in Canada, and Jurvanen is a self-taught guitarist. If that doesn't make you sound like an independent artist, I don't know what does.

The music here is very simple, but it's something that draws you into the sound. I don't know what you'd classify this music under as far as genre, though. I guess you could maybe say alternative, but usually that's reserved for something heavier. This is definitely not heavy, more of a help you sleep kind of sound.
