I'll Make Love to You - Boyz II Men

Theme: Power of Love

The song is one of the more popular ones from the group. It spent fourteen weeks at the top spot of the Hot 100 upon its release. Both songs in the above medley were written by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, who joins the group for the second half of the performance. The latter of the two also replaced "Endless Love" as Motown's most successful single.  That says a lot.

"End of the Road", which preceded "I'll Make Love to You" as a release, lasted thirteen weeks on the chart's #1 spot. At the time, thirteen weeks broke the record that had been held by Elvis. Whitney Houston then took that record away a few weeks after, only to have Boyz II Men tie things back up with their next hit, "I'll Make Love to You".
