Love is a funny thing. There are times when it happens after you've known someone for a long time and just decide one day that you have deeper feelings. Other times, those feelings develop slowly over time. Then, there are those moments when you first see someone and know right then that there is something special about them.
Often, those feelings don't pan out like you imagine. Love at first sight is a hard concept to swallow. I think lust at first sight is often more common. There are a lot of people walking around that don't really even know what love is I'm pretty sure. They have what they believe to be love, but it's really not.
The performance above won Orbison a Grammy after his death in 1991. You'll see a lot of greats in the video, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, and Jackson Browne to name a few. It's from an HBO special entitled "Roy Orbison and Friends, A Black and White Night". It looks like a great concert, but I have to confess, this is only part of it I've ever seen. I may have to change that soon.
