These dudes can play some music. This song grooves in so many ways I can't even count them. The opening is really funky, but then we jump into a driving beat. The contrast in the different parts of the song is so big that I'm amazed it works, but it sure does. Of course, that's the way of things in music more often than not, the things that shouldn't work do.
The group formed in Colorado, blending styles as far from one another as bluegrass and rock. They have released nine albums and developed a serious cult following. Their shows are usually very psychedelic, having paired with Peak Experience Productions to create eye and mind psychedelia.
