This is a quick post for today. This vocal group has all kinds of stuff out there, but there's something about this one that stands out for me. It might be that it's not produced or bogged down by all the equalizers and equipment we're used to hearing music pushed through. It's just, no pun intended, natural. I also really enjoy these spontaneous, public performances. Most of the people present seem to usually enjoy them, but there's always that one guy that's annoyed by the musical distraction. The song was originally written and recorded by Phil Collins about his divorce from his first wife, and it became a huge hit in the UK, hitting #2 and topping out at #19 in the US.
